Jill was beyond amazing, very attentive and had great advice. Wings were delicious. However, if you like a bit of spice, order Medium or probably even hot. The Mild had no spiciness at all. Portions were very good, not small, nor too huge. I would definitely stop by again when in the area.
Food here is always delicious no matter what you order. Our favorite is the fish tacos which we think are the best anywhere! Burgers are always fantastic too! I also love the ahi tuna salad. The Old Mill is our favorite restaurant because it’s like home. We love the people who work there too….always smiling and friendly!
First time here. I did not get that cozy welcome feeling when I first got there but I can live with that, don't need to be pampered. After a bit it felt better. Without a doubt a locals place so I get it. Lots of great beers on tap - IPA and my red ales so I was happy. Wing sauce was great! Asked for crispy and they came out good, not overdone. Definitely a good wing. Lots of atmosphere to bring in. I know nothing about the history, etc but lots of those cop/firehouse things on the wall. Pardon my ignorance there but I think it's extremely cool. Other orders looked good and busy for a Tuesday. I will go back because the steak looked yummy!
The people working here are very sweet! We came after the kitchen closed and they were close to closing overall but still allowed us to order a drink. The times of operation on Google are from pre-covid era. Their kitchen closes at about 8:45pm. The time the bar closes depends on how busy the place is but they close between 9-10pm. Very very nice place. Cannot wait to come back. They are also super dog friendly with picnic tables outside!!!
Additional note:
They do take out but not delivery
The food was good but not great. The wings were a bit overcooked and dry. My wife really liked her turkey dinner, and I liked the ribeye cheesesteak, but the bread is basic at best. The plastic bag, near the deli in the supermarket bread quality. Spongy and flavorless the bread was more of a filler and something that was used to make a sandwich. If they used a bakery style subroll, that steak sandwich would have been really good. The steak was very tender, needed a bit more salt and pepper but the inners of that sandwich were great. The bread wasn't at the same level. Overall, we will be back, and we liked the restaurant. Good beer selection is pretty good. Stacy's mom was an enjoyable IPA. Great name that I'm sure helps sales.
The burgers were ok,nothing special being I'm a butcher.
The service was superb!!
It's a nice place for date night with your wife or girlfriend,it's laid back!
One thing that bothers me when we go out is everything still over priced!!
This inflation is out of control, this dinner should have cost about $45.00 including TIP.
They say things are getting better, where I ask??
Things were so much better before
Great local place! Absolutely loved the shrimp poppers with chipotle mayo on the Happy Hour menu. Bartender made a great classic martini. The waffle fries were unfortunately a bit over cooked.
I ordered French onion soup and was brought clam chowder. Then the wings which were an appetizer came with the entree and the drink that was ordered was ALL BOURBON….it was supposed to be an Old Fashioned. I ordered a sweet potato and got a regular baked potato and both were not cooked all the way
The whole place everyone seemed off. Not sure if we’re going back
